An update from Cairn – May 2019

By Kay Cathcart, Alan McWilliam & Rich Robinson

Cairn movement was formally launched in November 2015, and we have been so encouraged by your partnership during these years – prioritising mission and discipleship, investing in leadership, doing it together as family. Much has been learned during this initial season, and we are keen to ensure this learning helps shape the future. It is time for a reset.

First, a message from Karl…

“As Niki and I return from Sabbatical we do so with some clarity around what God has us for in this coming season. We have a great love for the people of God and this nation and still dream for the Church and all that it can be.
We now know, with sadness and certainty, that the Lord is leading us to lay down the leadership of Cairn and in doing so leave the organisation.  We will continue to support the vision that God birthed in us and cheer on the Kingdom activity, much of which is bearing fruit.
We are so grateful for your kindness and support in the past season and would love to ask you to pray for us in whatever God has for the new.”

The Cairn leadership are committed to the ongoing vision of supporting a relational network focused on resourcing mission and discipleship. We are encouraged by the ongoing openness of so many to work together to see a kingdom focused missional movement. Rich and Alan will continue their commitment as practitioners and Kay’s commitment will continue by transitioning to a board member.

We are fully committed to ensuring all arrangements made previously and all current commitments continue as planned. We are convinced God is asking for this work of equipping leaders in the Celtic lands to continue. We are taking time to listen and talk, reflect and imagine, to chart the way ahead for this next season – please pray for us as we do this. The road ahead is one for which we are sure we will value your participation and involvement – we will be in touch.

With huge gratitude for your partnership,

Kay, Alan and Rich

Give

God has given us a vision to see the Celtic Lands transformed by Him. In order to serve that vision, we need to finance it. If you feel like God has captured your heart for this vision too, could you think about financially supporting us?
