Training Hub

Growing as a disciple. Strengthening your influence.

Playing your part in God’s Kingdom purposes.

God has given us a vision to see the nations changed and the church transformed, with his kingdom coming in every sphere of society.

This vision starts with ordinary men and women taking hold of all that Jesus has for them and the call to make disciples. It starts with ordinary disciples catching a vision for their everyday lives, and investing in all the potential they see there.

Training Hub is a 10-month training programme encompassing theological teaching, leadership development, practical training & spiritual growth. It’s a place for training and equipping disciples from across the Celtic lands to serve God in every area of life and culture.

What is it?

Training Hub is a supported environment for learning and dreaming, gaining skills and stepping out. It’s a team, a family, of like-minded people, breathing courage into one another. It’s an additional investment alongside all your church might offer to take hold of God’s call on your life and step in to all that he is showing you. So we’ll ensure you receive plenty of…

Information – Teaching on a broad range of biblical, cultural, theological, leadership and personal faith subjects that are both relevant to your situation now and preparing the way for all that God might lead you on to.

Imitation – Opportunities to shadow others, receive personal input and on-the-job training. Partnership with your local church will ensure this happens in your context as well as in the Training Hub environment.

Innovation – Encouragement to put knowledge and faith into practice; from simple daily rhythms to life altering decisions.

Who is it for?

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” (2 Timothy 2:2)

God’s kingdom grows when ordinary men and women are equipped and emboldened to live out their faith wherever God has placed them. Training Hub is designed to equip disciples to live missional lives, and is open to anyone who wants to grow in knowledge and faith, to play their part in building the Kingdom of God.

How does it work?

Participation in a variety of learning environments including:

  • Five weekend conferences with teaching, worship and small group discussion
  • Monthly local gatherings with input from a range of experienced trainers
  • Accountability groups
  • Personal involvement in regular rhythms of prayer and fasting, Bible engagement and missional living

What does it cover?

  • Knowing God and discovering our identity in Christ. Learning to lead ourselves well so that we would be able to influence others.
  • Relationship: learning from Jesus’s example to prioritise time with Father God, with the community of believers and with those who don’t yet know him
  • Playing your part: equipping the church, releasing and training the apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds and teachers to serve as God calls them
  • God’s kingdom purposes: encouraging kingdom growth in the spheres of education, business, arts and entertainment, government, media, family and religion

When is it?

Interns

We love to train and release people into all aspects of culture and society, responding to God’s call to be part of the restoration of all things. As church leaders, we are personally able to invest in the training and equipping of some for church leadership and planting.

We long for people to lead church in a new way for a new reality. They will need vision, skills, modelling, support, training and teaching – up close and personal, with feedback and encouragement that cheers them on.

The best way to secure an internship is to speak with your local church leader – start there, and then come to speak with us about partnering it with Training Hub. The additional support and equipping we offer can make an internship year into a year of really significant learning and growth. This is part of Training Hub, but it’s also more than that. It’s intentionally investing in the church leaders of today and tomorrow.

If you would like to apply for internship, please discuss the opportunity with your church leader before submitting a Training Hub application to us.
