Small Group Resources for Churches on the Edge of Mission
You may have noticed the world changing and that the church in many places, particularly larger denominations, has dwindling numbers. Perhaps you have been part of a merger with another congregation already, or you have watched a thriving congregation shrink to a faithful few.
You might suspect something needs to change but you are not sure what or where to start, or even how to talk to others about it.
Let us walk together for a while and talk…
Coracle exists to see individuals and faith communities transformed by the loving power of Christ, for us all to be everything that we can be as followers of Jesus, and to work together to move forward in mission for this time and season.
We are helping churches and faith gatherings to start, and continue, conversations about ourselves, our churches or gatherings, and the world around us. We study the Bible to see what God’s Word has to say about our particular context and time, and we work together to seek the path He has set out for us to travel.
The way we do this is through a set of resources we have named ‘Coracle’ after a small round boat, which was often the vessel that carried olden day Celtic monks to unknown lands, where they would carry the Gospel and plant loving Christian communities.
Coracle is a set of 9 study and workshop style materials that help to guide your conversations, reading and planning as you think of how you might move forward as disciples of Jesus.
The resources are grouped into 3 Sections:
SECTION 1 – Understanding the Mission of God
SECTION 2 – Understanding Church Culture
SECTION 3 – Understanding Yourself/Your place in the Mission and Church Culture
Each Section has 3 Modules which can be studied on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Once you download the resources, you can return to them again and again to ensure you have received maximum value from them.
Of course, we are always nearby to help where you need it. We offer follow up visits, coaching, and workshops to help you go deeper
